The Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys have been revised and the new version – identified now as ALTA/NSPS Standards - will become effective February 23, 2016. In this program, participants will be briefed on the process of revision and provided with a summary of the roughly 15 pages of suggestions that were considered by the NSPS and ALTA committees. In conjunction with an overview of the purpose and use of the ALTA/NSPS Standards, the most significant modifications for 2016 will be highlighted and explained in detail. The rest of the program will be spent in a detailed review of the various research, field, drafting and certification requirements of the standards, and of the twenty Table A requirements.
