MRIC Spatial is seeking an experienced field Survey Technician or Crew Chief for full time position. Applicant will be responsible for collection of Survey data for ALTA, Boundary, and Topographic Surveys. Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and trains up to 3 Survey Technicians from time to time.
  • Responsible for safety, job planning, and execution of data collection activities.

Essential Duties include:

  • Finding and accurately Surveying monuments and markers.
  • Identifying site features relevant to survey type (e.g., utilities, storm and drainage structures, topographic features).
  • Properly enter field data with feature and linework codes.
  • Keep field notes.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience working with Trimble equipment.
  • Over 2 years of land surveying experience, preferable 5-10 years experience.
  • Comfortable working with computers, Windows Operating System, digital cloud environments.
  • Willing and able to obtain drone pilot's license, preferable to have drone pilot's license prior to application.
  • Familiarity with collecting field data for ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, & Tree Surveys.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional overnight travel and overtime.
  • Driver's License.
