Description & Nature of Work:

I am a semi-retired Florida PSM seeking to assist in establishing a new surveying business anywhere in Florida in partnership with qualified individuals to serve the residential construction market.The qualified candidate will be 2-3 years from becoming a Florida registered surveyor, and has a desire to start their surveying business experience as soon as possible.

Examples of Duties:

The candidates would create their own company ANYWHERE in Florida. I must be a principal in the company. They will perform all field work and drafting, providing the field data information for review and the finished survey PDF for signature. I have 2 robotic total stations (Focus 35) and Ranger 7 tablets, with all needed hardware to field 2 crews. I also have Carlson BRX7 GPS Rover available. I also have office furniture, supplies and 2 Kyocera floor standing copiers.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

My contribution to the business will be the duty of the PSM until the candidate becomes registered. My existing business was formed in 2014 with a focus on residential construction. My compensation will be a small monthly salary plus a percent of the invoices.The target market is builders in new subdivisions with good control. 

Minimum Qualifications:

This opportunity may also attract established survey companies in Alabama or Georgia that desires to expand into Florida, but lack a PSM here at this time.
