In this role, as a licensed land surveyor, you will be integral to our team, contributing your expertise to a diverse range of projects within our region. The ideal candidate will possess a hearty understanding of various survey types, including plat, boundary, topographic, route, tree/vegetation, legal/sketches, easements, record drawing, and construction surveys. Proficiency in both field and office techniques is crucial to ensuring the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients. Experience with LiDAR and/or Robotics would be advantageous.

This position primarily entails office-based responsibilities, though occasional field visits may be necessary for quality assurance/quality control field reviews, proposal preparation, and/or training and supporting field associates and drafting personnel. Timely and high-quality deliverables are paramount.

Examples of Duties:

Common survey types (plat, boundary, topographic, route, tree/vegetation, legal/sketches, easements, record drawing, construction, etc.) along with the field and office techniques will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Key Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the surveying and mapping industry in Florida, encompassing both design and construction aspects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe software.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid State of Florida PSM license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Commitment to a Drug-Free Workplace (drug test required).

Licenses or Certifications:

Current State of Florida PSM License.
